We have enjoyed a lot of success in the show ring having won many Top awards
We are so proud of all the dogs we have bred these are just some of the Top winning Blitzans Sh Ch Blitzan Rhine Jw ShCm Sh Ch Blitzan Ragamuffin Blitzan Rendition Sh Ch Blitzan Leahs Stunner JW to name but a few......... 2010 see's us taking a year out - we will attend a couple of shows but have decided to give the dogs a break. We are starting a new farming business and feel it is more important than traipsing all over the country! The dogs are having great fun and we are saving a fortune!!! That doesn't mean that the Blitzans are not well represented though. We have Blitzans, their children and Grandchildren out there winning. Blitzan Eternal Treasure wins Reserve Best Bitch at Bath from Junior. Logi's son Jasper continues his reign at the top by winning Best dog At the LMC Club show DCC and BIS winner is a Blitzan Grandson RDCC Is Logi's Son Best bitch is no relation but Logi's wife! RBCC is a Logi Grand daughter and Best Puppy in Show is Logi's son. Also Blitzans were winning the classes too! Blitzan Eternal Light and Kathy won Junior so all in all a good day.
It just goes to show good breeding shines through!!! Well done to all the owners concerned and thank you.
Tetra - Blitzan Eternal Mischief - on the day of the club show!
Mazy - Blitzan Eternal Treasure - Thank you for flying the Blitzan flag!
The life of a Champion!!! Logi is enjoying his retirement! Much more fun to wallow!
This was 2009 well part of it! This year so far out of the 11 Championship shows we have had this year at 9 of them either Logi or one of his children has won either the CC or RCC - 4 of the best puppy awards have gone to his grandchildren At the LMC Champ show Logi's son won the DCC and Best in show, Logi won the RdCC and his daughter won the RBCC, even the BCC winner was related Many thanks to judge: Mrs Di Arrowsmith
At Blackpool young Hooch, Blitzan Absolutely Dazzles won Post Graduate Dog and the RCC Many thanks to Moray Armstrong for Starting this promising youngster off
We have only made it to two shows, due to my ill health, puppies and buying our farm but Logi won the RCC at both show, Windsor and the LMC Champ show
The Blitzan Eternal litter make their debut at Leeds Championship show, three are going there but then 8 will be at Paignton!!!
We didn't get to Leeds as I was poorly and sooooo disappointed, but Karen and Mazy made the trek and Congratulations to them, winning 2nd in Puppy bitch and qualifying for Crufts 2010
Our Logi has been our high flyer, winning so far 16 CC's, 22 RCC's
numerous Best of Breeds, he has his Show Champion title, Junior Warrant
and Show certificate of merit, every year he comes out and wins CC's and
Best of Breeds, he is the most loving Mummy's boy who knows how to turn on
the sparkle and show his socks off.
He has also won BEST IN SHOW at not one but TWO Large Munsterlander Club shows.
This is our young lady, SHOW CHAMPION Blitzan Leahs Stunner JW, Diva by name, Diva by nature
Diva gained her title as the Large Munsterlander Club Championship show with a record entry of over 100 Munsterlanders. Judge: Mr G Hargreaves awarded her 1st in best Bred by Exhibitor and then Bitch CC and Reserve Best in Show, to say we are chuffed would be an understatement! Diva has only been to a few shows for far this year but we are really pleased with the results not only did she gain her title but she also won Best Bitch at Bath Champ show
Our beautiful girl, is a popular girl, so far she has won 3RCC's and 3 CC's, Top Puppy 2004 and she was 2nd in Vitalins Bitch of the year, a great achievement for our breed. She is taking some time out later this year to have a litter of babies, and will be going to Europe to be mated. She is a huge character and loves everyone, for some reason everyone knows Diva!
All our dogs have shone for us, and many thanks to all the judges who have seen their special qualities, from Tarka the eldest who was likely shown but has qualified for Crufts for life to baby Prima who has been shown lightly and still managed to get placed every time out and qualified for Crufts. We didn't actually make it to Crufts this year, (2008) as having bathed and trimmed the chosen dogs, made the pack lunch and loaded the car, dear Logi was taken ill, so I chose to stay at home with him and skip Crufts BUT the Best of Breed was a Blitzan son, 4 of Logi's children were there and two won 1st and 2 won 2nd, and the Junior Dog was also a Blitzan son, let alone the other Blitzans who also won prizes, we were well represented and very chuffed. Well done to everyone.
James, now 13, he has three dogs he shows and trains, Zeta, Prima and young Tetra. He is the future of Blitzans and thank fully he has a genuine interest and love for the dogs. He first showed at the tender age of 3 and so far has never missed an opportunity to step out in the ring with one of the dogs, he also shows dogs for other owners, one which is a special girl for him is Elle Banks, young bitch Lana, a real sweetie. Like me James hasn't been out much this year, he will be at Leeds showing Tetra for the first time. He is also booked up for Paignton and will be showing several dogs there. His loves of animals extends to all creatures and since he could talk he has always said he wants to be a Vet, so determind is he that he has even got himself a job at a Vets. I of course encourage him, well I wouldn't mind a Vet in the family would I!
He really enjoys all things doggy and he has a natural affinity with all animals and win or loose he just has fun, we are very proud of him. Go to the Junior Blitzan site to see more of James and his dogs.
For more show results and achievements you can contact us, but all of our dogs are shown and all have won significant placings. Far too many to mention on just one web site! But first and foremost the dogs are all members of a much loved family. We now have an AUSTRALIAN CHAMPION in the family AUS CH BLITZAN LEAHS PRIDE UK IMP See the 'Around the World' page for more details on Tracie and Blue.
